Lauren Moses is a Co-active Coach, trained by the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). Her coaching embraces the wisdom and strength of the whole person, not just the particulars of the problem at hand. Her clients feel seen, heard, appreciated, and challenged in in ways that are absolutely transformative. In addition to corporate clients, Lauren coaches a small number of private clients.

Organizations often elect to work with The Moses Group to address one or more of these issues:
- declining or stagnant key performance indicators (KPIs)
- a level of innovation that is insufficient to maintain or improve market position
- widespread avoidance of direct feedback
- a disconnect between the organization's stated priorities and how employees are utilizing their time
Our Consulting Process
1) Discovery - First, we learn from our client what business need we are striving to fulfill. After understanding the need and the most powerful levers available to us, we gauge the current sense of urgency at the organization. Woodrow Wilson once said, "If you want to make enemies, try to change something." Change will be thwarted at every turn unless there is an indisputable sense of urgency compelling people to change.
We gather together a coalition of influential members of the client's staff. This collection of leaders who are fully committed to the change effort is an essential element of a successful engagement. From here, we begin a comprehensive needs analysis. We gather information through client interviews, focus groups, and surveys.
2) Solution Generation - We engage leaders, managers, and line employees in appreciative inquiry in order to generate and map solutions onto observed areas for improvement. We help the client create a vision to direct the change effort -- a vision about which the guiding coalition is passionate. Brainstorming workshops are an integral part of the solution generation process. Equally important is the moment when the client can clearly articulate how we will distinguish the very earliest indicators of success and how we will measure success going forward. The Moses Group then builds on these insights in order to generate a list of recommendations. Eager to put these ideas into action, we swiftly move to the Implementation phase.
3) Implementation (includes ongoing assessment and adjustment) - Once senior leaders and The Moses Group have agreed upon a robust action plan (that anticipates obstacles and creates a plan to surmount them), we help direct a coalition of influential members of the client's staff to implement these next steps. Throughout the engagement, clients may draw upon one-on-one or small group coaching, skill-based workshops, discussion groups, accountability sessions, and innovation forums facilitated by The Moses Group. Implementation is an iterative process during which both the client and TMG learn (through client interviews, surveys, and analysis of specific key performance indicators) where any significant gaps in organizational effectiveness may persist, and we make a plan to address as needed.
4) Sustainability Coaching - The Moses Group assists the client in crafting a strategy to create short-term wins. These "small wins" matter because they are opportunities to draw clear connections between new practices that support employee engagement and the ultimate goal -- organizational success.
We recognize that institutionalizing new practices (solidifying them as "the way we do things here") is a crucial step that -- if skipped -- can upend the entire transformation effort. If we don't ensure that our work sticks, inertia will win every time. For that reason, we coach the client's professionals to ensure that leaders are willing and able to continue the work of culture change -- institutionalizing new approaches and expanding the organization's capacity for continuous learning.
